Is tomorrow the official release date? If so, I'll definitely get it tomorrow. I will probably be able to get a € 15 discount with my advantage card, so the price of a new CD won't be too hard on my pockets.LOL

For me, second to De-Loused and almost tied with Frances. They really bounced back.

It is such a amazing album and very different from their other albums, very close to being their best work yet, it is up their with De-loused in the Commatorium
Somewhere out of a memory of lighted streets on quiet nights...

Currently the world seems to be split into two camps: Those where album releases are on Friday, and the others where album releases happen on Tuesday. Fortunately Germany is part of the former, so I could pick it up two days ago.Big%20smile

Haven't heard it, and none of these posts enlighten me. =(

Is it as powerful and as "important" as De-loused? I don't mean aggressive by this - I want to know if it recaptures the feeling they gave me with their first album, making me know their music was powerful and new.

I think it is really catchy.. I find Amputechture and Bedlam the two most catchy, because they're heavy and more "sure". I found the first 2 albums a bit "experimental", to try how Mars Volta were...

Of course, it's a premature opinion and I heard it in a low-quality format in freenapster. Still, I am not excited with this album.

Luckily, the avant-garde is subdued a bit, but the vocalist is even more annoying than before and the music doesn't have as many memorable moments as in their previous album (the only MV album I enjoy)

Still, more listenable than their first 2 albums, and there are some good songs, the best being "Soothsayer" which sounds like ethnic musical exorcism.

Temas rescatables:Aberinkula,Wax simulacra,Goliath.

lol, How are we supposed to know that?

I haven't listened to it yet, and don't plan on doing so until I have a jewel case and booklet in my hands.

I don't feel they are progressing very well, in fact I don't see the album as a step forward at all. TMV are standing still, while the album was not bad i am dissapointed because it sounded too much like stuff they had already done.
