Received a post recommending them for Symphonic.

Good stuff, but for what I heard, sounds more like Hard Prog, borderline with Prog Metal.

In any case, let me know as soon as the two teams check them, because I don't want to leave them outside.

I asked Juhani to send me a bio and the album updated details.
I'll add it when I have it.

Thanks, David.

Have you heard the final album yet? It's just awesome, altough not strictly "heavy prog", in my humble opinion :) Occasional Frank Marino and Steve Hillage influences can be heard, but in very positive way. I think the guitar hero Juhani has successfully melted the influences to the genuinely original sound and style! Also of note are the excellent keyboard parts - all played by Mr. Nisula himself, with the exception of  Timo Ristilä's hilarous Moog solo on "Part One: The pioneers" - and "Part Two: The Traveller" is a must for any Hammond organ freaks. Lots of Mellotrons, too, mind you!

Overall I find the side two of the album more coherent than the otherwise equally stunning side one (yes, this music is best enjoyed on vinyl, especially as the LP version comes in stunning gatefold sleeve). Songs seque in a manner when you really don't want to skip any part of this "Chapter II: Circumstances".  It all comes to an end with "Part Seven: The Release" with brilliant guitar and violin solos. violin is played by Sanna Agren, who is up there with Jerry Goodman, Konsta Jylha and Darryll Way in terms of virtuosity and passion!

So: great album, and well worth investigating!
