I am attaching a link to the MySpace page for Dendura, a prog metal band from Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Their debut album New Life was released in 2006.  They have a female lead singer and they have some Egpytian influences to their music.

I added band and album to my website ... and to the PMT chart. Feel free to tag the album if you have access to it ... there's even a tag "Egyptian". Smile

Mike, I don't have the album yet but once I receive it I will definitely review and tag on your website.

Oh cool! Just found this! I'm one of Dendura's street team members. I copied this from their forum at ultimate metal. I have seen them live since with their newer songs and Aziza's vocals are way bigger and they now have 2 guitarists instead of 1 and also a new drummer and bassist.

Grammy award winning producer Neil Kernon is recording Dendura's untitled album! We are very excited to have Neil work with us on this album as we have always been fond of his work and admire the bands we has worked with. Neil worked with Nevermore, Queensryche, Dokken, Tapping the Vein and Jeff Loomi's solo project and a whole lot more.

We know Neil sees our vision and can help make our album the best it can be!

A studio blog will be viewable on our myspace pg soon.
