Just wanted to start this thread for my favorite festival.  The new stuff for this year is that it has been moved from the late spring/early summer date where all the North American festivals seem to run together  to October 11th.  The weather is usually beautiful at this time of year in California and Whittier is a small but interesting town.

The first three bands have been announced as

Echolyn
Sylvan
Izz

4th band is still TBD as is the band for the preshow patron/staff/band dinner.  Can't wait for this show!!!

I hope to be able to move to the US before the end of summer. Our K-1(fiancé visa) petition was sent about a month ago, and we're waiting for news. Hopefully the whole process won't last too long... If I manage to get there in time, it may well be that we will be able to make it to California in October. I'd really love to see the place, and of course meet you.

Marty & I will be there. I've seen IZZ and love 'em. Echolyn is a band I've been wanting to see for a long time. I am thrilled. I have a Sylvan CD, but I can't remember anything about them. I'll have to drag it out and give it a spin. I'm really looking forward to hearing who the #4 band is. UKZ would be phenominal.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing some old friends too!

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Micky!  Can't wait till you both get a load of the salsa dancers at the Radisson in Whittier.  LOL

Where else can you go to see Roine Stoldt carrying several bags of Taco Bell!  Tim Keese of Cryptic Vision trying to clean several ladies feet!  Having John Galgano of IZZ buying you a beer!  Getting to be a star in Paul Bremmers (IZZ) video! Seeing Pete Trewavas face while IZZ lite played a Marillion medley out on the patio.  Finding out Jonas Riengold first band was a Hawkwind clone LOL Having a melt down Genesis discussion in a Mexican Restaurant that we took over and told them they weren't closing.  LOL

If anyone is within 60 miles of this show please come.  You won't regret it.  There isn't a bad seat in the house and it is California in October a very nice place to be. .
