Seen the advertised prices - to quote guys at Fusenet website:

ticket prices for the Paris concert :

EUR111,00 (= USD173,33)
EUR89,00 (= USD138,93)
EUR67,00 (= USD104,62)

also those guys are also bemoaning SF prices are $100 US or more......

Is anyone planning on going to the one in St. Louis, or does anyone know how much the prices would be there? I'm hoping that Dick's info stating the US prices (in excess of $100) aren't for all venues.
Around $50 would be nicer (and still not "cheap") Big%20smile... but maybe I'm just dreaming...Unhappy

Info on set played at RTF first gig in Texas on 29th:
Return To Forever - May 29, 2008 Paramount Theater, Austin, TX

Chick Corea - keyboards
Stanley Clarke - bass
Al Di Meola - guitar
Lenny White - drums

Quote: "In the era of boy-bands this is a man-band" - Lenny White when he
was talking to the audience during the show.

Hymn of the 7th Galaxy
Vulcan Worlds
Senor Mouse
Sorceress
Song to the Pharaoh Kings
Guitar Solo Intro
No Mystery
Piano Solo Intro
The Romantic Warrior with Bass Solo and Drum Solo

Reviewer suggests band was  tight although it was clear there were occasional looks for reassurance, wrt came next. Also comments flying at some of the outrageous prices being charged.

Haven't read anything about this in PA, but Return To Forever is reforming with Lenny White, Stanley Clarke, Chick Corea and Al Dimeola

They're touring the western US right now, slowly heading east, then will hit Western Europe (all too briefly), before returning to the US. Their stes concentrates on Hymn, Where Have I, No Mystery and apparently Romantic Warrior  played in its entirety

let's just stay above the moral melee

I had to skip the show in LA for work related issues. Angry Man, my employer has no sense of priorities whatsoever. Wink

I hope they come back one more time.

I saw them in Ottawa last night (26th) for 30$ at the Jazz Fest. It was an amazing show, and I highly recommend it to all Jazz / Rock lovers. And of course, I forgot to mention that its been 25 years since they've been separated....
