From the Steve Wilson website: http://www.swhq.co.uk/

No-Man's sixth official album, Schoolyard Ghosts, has been completed. Recorded in August/September last year, and Jan-March this year, the 53 minute album features 8 new songs, and will be issued on Kscope in mid-May. A deluxe 2LP vinyl edition will also be released by ToneFloat. Videos and audio previews will soon be available on-line. For more news, track listing, and details on the performer line-up, head on over to the official no-man site, or to Tony Kinson's revamped no-man - a confession site.

Also, from the King Crimson website: http://www.dgmlive.com/news.htm

No-Man have finished recording and mixing their latest record, Schoolyard Ghosts. It’s the sixth official studio album by Tim Bowness and Porcupine Tree’s Steve Wilson and features contributions from both Pat Mastelotto and Gavin Harrison, as well Fripp-collaborator Theo Travis. As if that wasn’t enough to get you revved up the strings are orchestrated by legendary Egg/Hatfield And The North keyboardist, Dave Stewart.

There's a fabbo new website dedicated to the album where you’ll find all the details.

I'm looking forward to this, it's been far too long since the previous No-Man release hopefully the wait will be worth it. I'll definitely be ordering both CD and Vinyl version as I'm a total Steven Wilson fanboy. Wink

This'll be the third new album released by SW this year and the fourth if you count the Lightbulb Sun reissue. Long may he keep producing excellent music in such vast quantities. Thumbs%20Up

Available from Burning Shed's <a href="http://www.burningshed.com/store/noman/collection/271/1051/">No-Man Store</a>:

Schoolyard Ghosts, No-Man's sixth official studio album, sees No-Man’s Tim Bowness and Steven Wilson expanding the band's sonic palette by collaborating with, amongst others, Theo Travis (David Sylvian/Gong), Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson), Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree), and the London Session Orchestra (arranged by Canterbury legend, Dave Stewart).

Featuring the sweetly hypnotic Wherever There Is Light, the warped dynamics of Pigeon Drummer, and the subtly evolving explorations of the uplifting 13 minute semi-orchestral epic Truenorth, Schoolyard Ghosts reveals the band taking its music to an even more focused and personalised place than before.

The cd/dvda comes in a lavish digi-pack with booklet and also features a 5.1 mix of the album, a photo gallery and videos for 3 songs.

The No-Man Store edition comes with an exclusive 6 track, 20 minute, bonus disc of alternates and edits.

Officially released on May 12th, the No-Man Store edition ships late April/early May.

There are 2 mini-sites dedicated to the album (<a href="http://www.kscopemusic.com/no-man">Kscope</a> and <a href="http://www.burningshed.com/aconfession">A Confession</a>), which include photos, links and a video

There are also two preview extracts from the album at No-Man's <a href="http://www.myspace.com.nomanuk">My Space</a> page.

Just a quick bump.

Anyone who's pre ordered the album from Burning Shed should be getting it fairly soon, I just received an e-mail telling me that my copy has been dispatched. Big%20smile
