I've heard a track of ØRESUND SPACE COLLECTIVE on an internet radio and was hooked, unfortunately I missed the name of the track.
 
Anyway, I want to give this a shot and ask for your recommendations on which album you think is best, or the proper one to start with? Are all albums good? etc.

I've not heard the band personally, but was checking out their website, they've a touch over three hours of live material posted on archive.org!!! http://www.archive.org/details/OSC2008-02-22.FLAC. Rivertree seems to be the resident knowledge round this neck of the woods.

Oresund is all about live improv space music.  Plenty of full concerts are freely available.  God bless the few people who buy an official album to give something back.
 
P.S.  What I've heard is pretty darn good.

Assaf - they have a lot of live stuff for download on their website - but I prefer their studio output
The current album 'Black Tomato' is absolutely terrific - please read my review
