Two great names, two new (2CD!) releases after a long period of silence in their careers. And hard to find two so different sounds. Who do you regard had better comeback in the 00's?
Present is really good, but I'd go with Kate. It was a great pleasure for me to see her on that artistic level after so many years. And what a great surprise after definitely not her best "The Red Shoes" effort!

Kate Bush!

I've no problem with 'Present' though. Fine album.

I prefer VdGG's, I never totally got into Kate Bush's.  It certainly has wonderful moments and is an accomplished album, but I was a little disappointed.  I guess I felt it could have been quirkier with more humour and fun.  I wasn't surprised really, since I do know all of her other albums, but I was hoping for a slightly different direction.  Maybe it was a bit too arty in a way for me, when I wanted more variety of styles and contrast.    I was quite excited about it too when it was announced that she would be releasing that album.  I also thought she might go in a more avant-garde direction, but it's a little too mainstreamish for me.
Just a fanboy passin' through.
