I think I’ve posted something about this subject a long time ago (Dec ’07, maybe), but again, maybe I’ve dreamt it…

Well, anyway, Témpano’s keyboardist Giuglio Cesare Della Noce has released an album called “Ora Pro Nobis” under the moniker iX (just like drummer Gerardo Ubieda has released an album under the name of Odrareg as a project). Listen to the samples placed at  http://www.ixdellanoce.com/ix_samples.html and find yourselves captivated by this exercise on experimental rock that can be easily labeled as eclectic prog. In fact, you can notice many elements of Témpano’s most experimental side there. Here’s an English version of the credits: http://www.tempano.com/giuglio/esp/index.php

The “Ora Pro Nobis” album has been reviewed at DPRP (http://www.dprp.net/reviews/200745.php - it left the reviewer confused, which might as well be a good sign!), Progressor (http://www.progressor.net/review/ix_2006.html) and Babyblaue (http://www.babyblaue-seiten.de/album_7898.html).

Honestly, I don’t see much place for debate here. Now that PA has Odrareg’s album listed and an updated list of Témpano’s work, iX’s inclusion might as well be swift and accurate.

    Kind regards.

I mentioned it also on another thread, but I've got a virus alert, don't know why, so please be cautious when listening, I trust cesar to make good links, but I don't trust the files behind them, maybe something goes wrong at my computer, just so you know.

You can listen to the track 'Seven Pillars of Wisdom' at www.myspace.com/tempano
(You have to shut down the new album samples that sound automatically in order to listen to the track...)
