I was wondering if anybody else was thinking about attending this gig at Dingwalls (London NW1) on Thursday 22nd May?

Double Bill: DAEVID ALLEN'S UNIVERSITY OF ERRORS / HERE & NOW
Gong and Soft Machine Founder Daevid Allen and the only London date for his US outfit, University of Errors, in a double bill with the UK's rather fine psychedelic rockers, Here & Now.
DINGWALLS, Camden Lock, London NW1
Thursday 22nd May, 8pm-12pm. Tickets: £15.00

Can anyone tell me more about Here & Now? My brother loves them but I haven't heard anything.

I'll be at the Amsterdam gig (May 3rd, Overtoom 301) and I may just attend Daevid's poetry reading (May 2nd, same venue), but now I know H&N will be at Dingwall's...damn, it's tempting. . I might just treat m'self to that one. Might be a bit of a stretch though, as I'm already going to Sonic World Festival and the Hawkfest in July. (That's a lot of flying,....carbon footprints and all that..)

Anyway, the A'dam gig's a cert. U of E are going to be playing a Soft Machine laden set, so I can't wait.

I won't be in Amsetrdam to catch U of E, but I can tell you that thisis an absolutely mind-blowing show (seen them twice in 03 - 04) with the guitarist being awesome.
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
