Strawbs are recording a new album for planned release in September this year. The offical website says "Strawbs' new album will be called THE BROKEN-HEARTED BRIDE. It is being recorded by the Hero and Heroine line-up in late April, early May 2008 for an expected September release date. Some of the newly recorded songs are likely to be featured on the Electric band tours in the UK and the US. Chris Tsangarides, who did such a wonderful production job on Secret Paths is back at the controls."

The band are also about to undertake a UK tour:

Friday 6 June 2008 - Princess Pavilion, Falmouth

Great news, especially Nomadness on CD!

Dragonfly is on CD already  I have an Australian 2001 release of Dragonfly without bonus tracks from ' Progressive Line', a division of Dole Music. I hope it is a legitimate release.

I would have gone to see them last year but they had to sell out and participate in that stupid cash grabbing prog festival we have here in Montréal which I refuse to have anything to do with. If they came on their own man I`d love to see them. The Strawbs are one of my faves from the seventies.

The Progressive Line releases of the first two albums ("Strawbs" & "Dragonfly") are bootlegs. Very good bootlegs, but still not legit releases. They were taken off the legit CD releases, so they sound fine and look fine (I have "Strawbs" on Progressive LIne and "Dragonfly" on the legit paper sleeve release).
