Dear all,
since January 2008 Ubi Maior have been working on their 2nd album, and at the of March they started studio recording.

The album title is "Senza Tempo" (Timeless). Its major influence (yet not the only one) lies on Neil Gaimanís graphic novel masterpiece, Sandman, and on its main characters, The Endless: 7 brothers and sisters named Destiny, Death, Dream, Desire, Despair, Destruction and Delirium. These 7 concepts are also the starting point for the 7 songs included in the album.

In comparison with their first work "Nostos", the new songs are more structured yet with more experimental moments. They don't follow so strictly as in the past the '70 Italian prog line, but the powerful Ubi Maior sound still remains, with its strong, dark and symphonic atmospheres.

The lyrics are from time to time hopeless, introspective, dark, sacred and onyric. Their aim is to develop and communicate emotions and ideas that lie under the Endless concepts.

The album will be released next fall.

Stay tuned for more news!
