My drummer is looking into getting one. He's played them at various music stores and says they're the best pedal he's every played. If that helps at all.
 
EDIT: Keep in mind he double basses A LOT.

Well I do too, I'm just unsure.
 
I have my drum teacher telling me they're crap, my friend telling me they're awesome. It's so confusing ;.;

Well, now I know of 2 people that have them, they both love them. I was jamming with a couple of friends and as we were packing up we heard a gunshot noise, someone said "what was that?" and the drummer who own's the cobra said "that's someone hitting the iron cobra in the far distance" LOL I guess you could say they're powerful

I have a set (Iron Cobra powerglide double pedal), and I have to say that everyone who tries them comments that they are really loud and heavy pedals. I think for agility, something like Axis would be much better (but, I can't afford Axis pedals at the moment).

Two drummers who come to mind who I believe use Iron Cobras are Dave Lombardo (with two singles) and Brann Dailor. I think that Cato Bekkevold from Enslaved uses them, as well. (The rare exception from the vast sea of Axis players.)
