The new It Bites album "The tall ships" is going to be released on July 21st via their website (pre-order possible from now on). A retail release will follow in September.
At the same time the band announced that bass player Dick Nolan left the band (or had to leave?) due to half-hearted commitment to the band and the new project. New bass player (at least for the autumn tour, but maybe on a permanent basis) is Lee Pomeroy who recently toured with Take That. He also played with Rick Wakeman, Archive and  - why not - the Sugar BabesShockedLOL.

the new track on their myspace-profile sounds GREAT.
however, get pete trewavas back (i'm sure he can fit
it in around his MARILLION-committments) and call it

KINO.

I've really been looking forward to this. I've not been able to listen to the new track at myspace, as my bloody internet connection is so weak and slow today, the songs wont load. There's also bugger all worth looking at on youtube relating to the new It Bites line up. Guess, I'll just have to be patient.

Yeah, I'd like another Kino album.  Picture still gets a lot of play on my MP3 player.
