Self-referred as "Fusion trio from Hell", Junk Farm is a German band which has released 2 albums so far. Judging from their last, the very good "Ugly little thing", their sound is indeed fusion-oriented with definite hard and progressive rock edges, very bright and pleasing. Their musicianship is first rate. The songs rather short, dense, very well crafted and well produced, normally fast paced. Very clean, bright and somewhat funny overall.

I think the band merits high regard should definitely be included in the archive, though I am not sure of the place: Fusion, or eclettic prog?

Relevant teams notified. Smile

Thanks, Mangoo and Tuz.  I couldn't see it in Fusion, and tend not to see it in eclectic either.  It's quite alt.rock with metal.  Heavy Crossover?  Metal crossover.  But it's not that "Prog" to my ears despite the fusion elements.  Not sure on first listen; will be discussing this with teams.  It has significant mainstream (or should that be alternative rock? which makes me sound oxymoronic, but I'm no expert on modern music) elements.  It's so song-based too.  I don't see it in Eclectic.  Too mainstream sounding, and rather too blues-based.
