Echoes is my fave song of all-music. Nonethless Shine on You Crazy Diamond pt 2 is as groovy as you can go, that jazz-fusion improv, is amazing.

I'll go with Echoes, no matter what.

Yep, Shine On for me.  Echoes a worthy second.

I recently heard about the thing where you listen to Echoes, and play 2001 A Space Odyssey silently on video simultaneously from the start of the Infinity section. Apparently, it's something else. I've not got 2001. Anybody else seen this? P'raps I'll post a new thread.

Physically cannot choose. My hand refuses to vote. Favourite lyrical content ever (with one possible exception), or the sublime Shine On...

Clap Well said. No need for me to make any comments here but I voted for Echoes because it`s  totally obscure or unknown to people who have only heard Floyd on FM radio . I`d throw Echoes on the turntable before I`d throw Shine On just because Shine On is a little up there on the over familiarity scale.

It's tough, but I'm gonna say Echoes because I've always thought Shine On is too bluesy for its own good.

Coin flip for me. Both are great works of music by a classic band.

Those 4 guitar notes are genius. (if you don't know which ones then you're on the wrong planet)

The anthemic Shine On of course. Very good poll though.
