God, that's so irritating! Hate it when that happens. And it happens way too often too, IMO. Wonder how these guys, who sell and ship CD for a living, can be so bad at packaging?

Anyway, my iamthemorning - ~ arrived in the mail today, and in good condition too. Woo hoo! Big smile Now for first listen.

While in Las Vegas, I got a chance to stop by the Zia Record Exchange for a few minutes. I picked up a few things that I've needed for a while (mainly albums that I haven't been able to find where I live).

On Vinyl:

Swans - The Seer (this ones a beast)

On CD:

At the Drive-In - Acrobatic Tenement
The Mars Volta - Tremulant EP
The Mars Volta - Octahedron (this completes my TMV CD collection, now I'm on to the Vinyls)
Can - Tago Mago (I've never been able to find this for a decent price for some reason)
Swans - The Burning World

I wish that I would've had more time in the store, but we were a little rushed. There were a lot more albums that I was interested in, but unfortunately I had little time. I'm still quite happy with my purchases though.

Fern Knight - Music For Witches & Alchemists
Popol Vuh - Aguirre (you know, ... the kind that has "Spirit of Peace" instead of "Aguirre III" and an acoustic medley for the electronic garbage in "Vergegenwartigung")

Got this one yesterday. I'm not very fond of compilation albums but Prog Magazine's are often quite good, with some pretty awesome covers as well Tongue

Maybe not a recent purchase, but I found my copy of Samla Mammas Manna - Måltid hiding behind a cupboard at my folks' place. Certainly feels like a new purchase - it's been ages. Score!
