Crosses - "S/T"

Another one of Chino Moreno's (Deftones' lead singer) side projects that has more of an electronic, poppish feel to it, as opposed to last year's ambient Palms album.  Pretty solid, too.

Was in Vancouver B.C and went into a place in the Kits district, called Zulu Records and found some very rare items.
Got 2 live recordings of THE SISTERS OF MERCY.

Kiss The Blade (1984)
So Dark All Over (1985)

Both live in Germany, but imported from Italy.
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

^^ I think I went to Zulu Records on my visit to Vancouver some 10 years ago.  I even remember what I bought there.

Gift cards are fantastic when you're down and out:

Synaesthesia - s/t
Burial - Rival Dealer
Current 93 - I am the last of all the Field I fell
Fire! Orchestra - Second Exit
Ochre - A Midsummer Nice Dream
Steve Moore - Light Echoes
                        Pangaea Ultima
Detektivbyrån - E18

I do miss frequenting shops where I'm able to flip through stacks of vinyl while talking with bearded men in Roxy Music t-shirts with holes in emCry Pure zen to this Dane

^^

Yeah, the store (Zulu) is definitely catered towards vinyl-heads more than digital hounds. I loved having a solid look around...didn't find much in my interest but the layout of the shop was cool.
Really enjoyed my time in Van....even if a few random locals came up to me and asked, ' hey can I touch your beard??'

My next purchase will definitely be IQ's 'The Road Of Bones.' Anyone else excited for this one?!
I think it's gonna be the album of 2014 for me. High hopes.
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

I am not quite at the 'can I touch your beard stage' yet, but it's got potential. I'll give it 2 weeks and then I'm in full Russian bear hunter mode....

I'm also looking forward to the new IQ, but as I've said before, a bit disappointed with the lack of Andy Edwards behind the kit.

Just bought:

I purchased this set for $128 via Amazon.de. My dad owns all of these albums of course and several editions of them, but he doesn't own the 2011 remasters of any of these and I figured this was a great way for myself to own all the studio albums. The price was certainly right as I've seen this go for much more than I paid on Amazon.de. 8)

Haha! Yeah. Never touch another man's beard unless you are a woman.
Also, I'm surprised your not a fan of the cook? I really like his drumming approach.
So you can turn into a Russian Bear as well huh? Good genes then.

Latest purchase....

Just bought one of two Ozric Tentacles albums I was missing in my collection. The other one I'm missing is Become The Other.
