Wow! That's pretty crazy. Even in America most retail places are shut down, at least for a bit.
Also a pretty nice haul. Thumbs Up

Thanks. I thought I should buy a variety of CDs and books since I have a winter vacation coming soon. I'm looking forward to reading the Zep book since I've heard good things about it.

Christmas is not a big deal in Japan, although people do like doing Christmas shopping. All the stores and businesses are still open so people still have to work. And couples usually go on a date at a nice restaurant on Christmas eve. In Japan, New Year's Day is much more important than Christmas day. So on New Year's Day all the stores close and people visit their families and go to the shrine to pray for a good year.

Hey Hose-A. :)

Your vinyl collection is getting to be like a well put together library.
Happy holidays to you, my progressive friend.

Hey Nick-o-las LOL

Thanks....just trying to get albums I really like, especially on vinyl. Everything that Kscope issues the sound is just amazing, and of course the KC reissues of Fripp approved remasters are brilliant!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year my friend!

Almost finished the Devin Townsend collection I started in October. I recently took home Infinity and Physicist. For Christmas I bought myself DTP's Deconstruction and Strapping Young Lad's The New Black. Now I just need Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing and then I can start working on the available-by-download-only stuff.
I used to be a fan of particular bands like Rush, Yes, and Deep Purple. Now I travel the Proglands, exploring a little bit of everything. I have become a Prog Voyager.

Tully - "Sea Of Joy" ... because it has Lockwood, Campbell, and Stewart on it. I figured: "Hey, if I liked Extradition's Hush, then I might like this one."

Got Dirty Tricks "Hit And Run" on CD finally. It's not prog, but hard heavy rock. Some great music on here such as the outstanding "Road To Deriabah","Hit And Run","The Gambler" and more. Proud to have it in my collection.Of course i'd had the vinyl version for years but it's had the heck played out of it.

Dirty Tricks? I was checking that out earlier in 2014. Unfortunately all CD copies I could find were really expensive.

$19 is not bad. I've had to pay over $30 sometimes for rare 70's albums. I just got Warpig's album on CD recently but it was not easy to find for under $30.

Hey Audun. Happy new year brother.
Let me know how you like that Goat: Commune album.

....just ordered

The Alan Parsons Project --Extended Live Versions
Lunatic Soul-- Walking On A Flashlight Beam (deluxe edition.) I'm taking a chance on this one.. Mixed reviews on here, but I do really appreciate M. Duda of Riverside's musicianship.
I know it's not similar to his Riverside work but I am curious to here the other side of this blessed musician. :)

Same to you, Nick! Smile

Yeah, just had my first listen to it. Really liked what I heard, and I sense it's a grower, which I, in time, may end up very fond of.
