Awesome order, Sam. I need to catch up on a proper CD of the `Live' one. The label was nice enough to supply a download in exchange for a review knowing that I dug the earlier CG albums which is great, but you know me - I NEED the proper physical CD!

I will say one thing...just listening to `Live' at work right now, and considering CG used to be dismissed a little as a mere TD clone project, just compare any of those `Syn' albums to the CG discs - no comparison which has more depth and worth.

Yeah, me too. I'm glad not everyone thinks like me though Tongue

The debut is very much TD but I think it's one of these cases where you need to emulate your musical heroes in the beginning to find your own path. I never heard of Syn before but just by looking at the album covers my interest faded LOL

Dude, doubt he even knows of P.A.'s existence, but I hear what you're sayin'. I don't usually diss someone like this, but in this case, I do.

Just ordered the new Circle album, Terminal, off the back of a killer review in The Quietus. Not that I really need any provocation to buy a new Circle album.

Do let me know what this one is like. Circle is definitely a band that I need to sample/know before buying. :p
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

I got the new Circle album just because I fell head over heels for Pharaoh Overlord. Terminal does continue the shamanistic psych flavour but it's bundled together with black metal vocals and a general emphasis on riffs. I prefer PO but this is still a new acquisition of mine.

^^  Obviously I was the one not paying attention.
There is a very good chance that I was herbally challenged when I posted. Confused

^  I've got a lot of crap, maybe I should try doing that.

^ No worries Wink Where's the smoking dude emoticon when we need it? I'm finishing "In Her Garden", it's fantastic! Big smile

You should, it lightens your shelves... and your soul Tongue I still have the worst of the worst to sell, I'll have to bring them to one of those stores that basically accepts anything.

^  It would be nice to thin out my original collection a bit. Back then there was nothing like YouTube or Bandcamp so you couldn't preview albums before buying.
Some "blind buys" turned out okay and some didn't.
Also, like I said before, when my new shelving unit is full there's no room for more.
I guess I could empty out a couple of cabinets in the kitchen.

^ I sold some blind buys and some bad quality pressings (a couple of Vangelis records). I also sold Traffic's "On the Road", I don't want to listen to it again. I very much agree with Easy Livin's review.
