^  Ha, I just pre-ordered the Matt Mitchell myself!  Sounds fascinating and anything on Pi is worth a shot.

The Kubikmaggi and Peter Kerlin Octet I recently got, think you will dig both of those.

Also just ordered, increasing my holdings of LA improv scene courtesy of some Amazon sellers offering bargains:

Brad Dutz - Obliteration Percussion Quartet
Steuart Liebig & The Mentones - Angel City Dust
Steuart Liebig & The Mentones - Nowhere Calling
Steuart Liebig / Tee-Tot Quartet - Always Outnumbered
Rich West - Bedouin Hornbook
Scott Amendola Band - Cry
Scott Amendola Band - Believe
Mark Dresser - Time Changes
Jeff Gauthier Goatette - One and the Same

So....lost my post againAngryDead

I had something clever to say about your recent haul Simon but it seems capcha is very successful in removing what bit of fun is left in my bones.

Recent additions to the fold:
Klaus Johann Grobe - Im Zinne Der Zeit
Motorpsycho - The Tower
Egberto Gismonti - No Caipira
Susanne Sundfřr - The Silicone Veil
Sun Ra - Disco 3000
Sun Ra - Beyond The Purple Star Zone
Mount Kimbie - Love What Survives
The Caretaker - Everywhere at the End of Time: Stage Two
Everything Everything - A Fever Dream
Kelly Lee Owens - s/t
Magma - Merci
Steve Moore - The Mind's Eye

Oh and a good friend of mine recently got me the new Eloy albumLOLErmm I didn't have the heart to tell him that I already listened to it and found it very poor. Pretty interesting musical ideas and good songwriting but they cannot help the musicians find the missing spark. Sounds like a 90 year old's prog band gigging down at the local retirement home. Void of any balls and geist.

Mjeah I have actually talked myself into giving it a few chances with bit of a break in between sessions (he did after all buy it for me). Maybe it'll grow on me (though i highly doubt it). Did you hear it yet Samuel and if so why would you ever want something like that taking up room in your home?LOL

Cool haul there. Seems there is an abundance of those Sky lps here in Europe. I see them just about everywhere I scour for vinyl (Ekseption follows the same pattern actually).

It's not that bad. It's reliable and unsurprising but there's plenty of good stuff, if you like their last few albums.

Would you believe I never came across a single album from both bands? It's a different Europe here Tongue
