Visited my daughter and son in law in Zionsville, IN near Indianapolis and I went to a small record store in an antiques mall....out in the country....picked up some old original vinyl. I'm always looking for copies of the old ones that are in better shape than some of mine. All of the ones I found were in nice shape except for the covers of the Little Feat albums but the vinyl is very clean.

Stones-Satanic Majesties Request ( with original hologram cover in near mint condition)
Byrds- 5 Dimension
Little Feat- Feats Don't Fail Me, Dixie Chicken
Tangerine Dream- Phaedra
Nektar- Recycled, Remember the Furure

It seems like many of the vinyl hounds on the forum buy new issues/releases....does anyone else like me prefer the old original ones..?

^ I enjoy going to old record stores and antique malls and rummaging through the record bins....I found all of those in nice shape at some small place in a small Indiana town. For me it's also about the fun of driving somewhere for an adventure to see what you might find.

^If I can find an older copy of an album (like a Led Zeppelin or something that doesn't have a newer, analog re-issue) that's in great shape and isn't way overpriced, I'll go for it. I recently came across a stack of older Santana and a couple of Camel records.  All sound great, are in great shape and I paid about $40 total for all of it.

^ That's what I'm talkin' about.... it's fun to find  decent copies of great bands from the past.

Excited to get this order when it comes. Expecting a lot. :)

Arena-- Double Vision ( I bet musically this album will be great, but the audio engineering will be sh*t. )
Ghost-- Prequelle (limited edition. Can't wait to hear their cover of Pet Shop Boys 'It's a sin"
Oceans of slumber-- Banished heart ( I have a feeling they will top winter. )
Pet Shop Boys-- Actually ( Japan CD)

Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣
