Well, people is more concern in adding Prog Related bands and making tons of pages about bands remotely related to Prog to worry about such a petty issue.

It should be noted that these shows are probably NOT the last shows Krim will ever play.
It should also be noted that the drumming is INCREDIBLE.
Also, the concerts WERE discussed in STC while you were off looking at less important threads.

There is not way they are going to hang it up. They're preparing for a new album. Fripp isnt THAT old.

Yeah, most important band just finished its tour, I know. But I was just glad that Tull finished in LA, ya know? That was fun.

Next year KC will selebrate their 40th anniversary so I think this is just a warm up thingy for something new or something bigger next year
By the way go to dgmlive.com news section for info about the finished tour

With Fripp nothing`s over. I could even see him reforming KC when he`s 103.

Who is it ? Who is it ? Rush ... no they're still going loud, I mean strong . The Police ... no wait, they're more intelligent reggae jazz pop new wave thingy . The Who ... can't be them, even when Pete says never, it never means never. Floyd, Pink that is, not Count or Uncle, got together for a good cause, mainly so Roger could just enjoy playing Bass. Gentle Giant. Not on tour, and now that Derek has seen how labels operate, he likely has no interest in playing the part of the bent over and receiving. Genesis ... can't be. Cause i remember rave reviews from before the tour, and matching memories after the moment (and those who wrote 'em up have earned my respect over the last few years). Unless you were expecting the end of the tour to serve as the reason to re-ignite the Anti-Phil or Gabrielites vs Philistines cyanide laced debates ??? Or is it one of those completely obscure bands that no one knows about but their one fan, that somehow influenced everybody else ?

The Husband and I attended the first night in Philadelphia. It was one of the best concerts of the year, but there have been so many great shows in 2008, and so many more to look forward to.
Awesome setlist. The band sounded great. We were in one of the back rows, but I think we got a good view of everything (including the elusive Mr. Fripp). We'll definitely be seeing them again if they choose to do another tour next year.
Tony Levin did a great job with the TCOL and TPTB songs, and Gavin Harrison did a great job adapting to Pat Mastelotto's style. I really hope this lineup records an album together.
Also, has anyone else seen Fripp's "comic book"-style diary entries? Very funny stuff. It's definitely Fripp's writing, but it seems so out of character for him, I can't tell if he's lost his mind or if he's just having a really good time.

Hey, I didn´t said that this was the last tour ever, I said that it was the last tour (so far). Great photos and one nice comment about the concert, but... please tell me more!
I´ve readed lots of comments in the web but I want to know YOUR impression as a prog and (I hope) king crimson fan.
setlists? new style? drumming? singing? rendition of old songs? level five?
Thanks

The drumming is the greatest drumming I've ever heard. No new music or new style. Adrian's good as ever. Fripp, surprisingly, was butchering some of the songs. One of the nights he was COMPLETELY OFF during one of the sections of The ConstruKction of Light and it totally ruined it until Adrian salvaged it in the section with vocals.

Hearing "Red" performed live with two drummers was the single greatest concert moment I've ever heard. I saw the show on the first night in Philadelphia and I'm still in awe of the performance.
