Anyone familiar with this outfit in here?

Listening to their one (and sadly only) full length album now. On the verge of being prog related but not quite; but man they do break down a few musical barriers in some of those tunes.

Question are you talking about that horrible band that TG Warrior had going for a while there?

Apollyon Sun were Tom Gabriel Fischer's Industrial-Metal-Gothic-Electronica band formed in 1995 after the disbanding of Celtic Frost - and disolved them to re-form Celtic Frost after a few years. I loved their first EP, God Leaves (and Dies) but was less impressed by their album Sub, eventhough it is very good ... the EP promised more.
What?

Yeah, there's highs and lows on that album for sure *chuckles*

The tunes I favor most there are Messiah (Second Coming) and Mother Misplaced - and Feeder is kinda fun too.

And yeah, even though it is a good album it could have been more adventurous ;-)
