Do you like this group? Seems to be a bit unnoticed here. It is one of my most favourite French groups. Especially "Strands of the Future" and "Halloween" albums. Halloween is produced perfectly, i love the melancholy mood of this album.

Yes! Pulsar is great. Creepy, dark, almost soundtrack-ish at times, but also conventional enough to appeal to fans of the big progs bands (Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes, etc.). Strands is great, Pollen is ok, and 'Halloween' is a total masterpiece. Melancholy is a good word for them.

I've heard that "Halloween" album a couple of times at my friends
place, it sounded quite nice. Maybe I should borrow that album from
him .

Yes, a great band! Perhaps my all-time French prog band from the 70s. |

I have Strands of the Future and Halloween; I like the former a bit better, but neither of them really connects with me. Just never really got pulled into the atmosphere, but they probably both deserve a closer listen...

I love Pulsar! Based on what I've heard from Ange, I even prefer Pulsar to Ange. The only album I haven't heard yet from Pulsar is Bienvenue au Conseil d'Administration, I think it should be as good as the rest. Gorlitz is a poppier one, but still good stuff for 1989. Victor Bosch is not doing music any more, he more is into showbiz these days. http://www.lyonpeople.com/presse/p6v_bosch.html Edited by Gomah |

I have Strands Of The Future ( awesome ) and Helloween ( great ). I love the spaciness of Strands. Its a great album to go to sleep to and I don't mean this in a bad or boring way.
