Just heard on the News, Richard Wright of Pink Floyd has died of cancer, don't know any more details

I checked Wikipedia, the info is true, but just look how horrendous the update was made:

He was aged 65 and has died after a long battle with Cancer.
 
His contribution to Pink Floyd cannot be underestimated. This is a sad sad day

Floyd founder Wright dies at 65


Pink Floyd keyboard player Richard Wright has died at the age of 65 after battling cancer, his spokesman has said.
The group released their first record in 1967 with Wright appearing alongside lead guitarist Syd Barrett, Roger Waters and Nick Mason.

The BBC is saying a short battle, which arguably is preferable.

I think that had it been a long battle news of it would have slipped out by now and it seems to be news to everyone here.

What tragic news - a great musician who maybe was never given the credit he really deserved.

Sadly that means the Live 8 performance really was the end of Floyd.
