You're thinking of Paul Williams, who was the second vocalist for them.

Juicy Lucy vocalist - was there more than one - since one ended up with Hiseman's Tempest, Dick Heckstall_Smith and then Allan Holdsworth's IOU band

btw, the piece  "See for Miles" was a little post-mordem tribute to Joe Zawinul and Miles Davis... hence the name. It's good you made sure folks knew it wasn't the Who tune :-)
