Hello,

I'm new to the Prog Archives and want to let you all know about my melodic progressive rock band, Days Before Tomorrow.

We released a self-produced EP back in 2006, but have much more exciting music for you now:

Days Before Tomorrow MySpace Page

1. We just released the single, "After The Rain," this past month. It's available on the CD, "Hair Apparent: The Main Man Records Tribute to Hair Bands" and includes our melodic prog reinterpretation of the 1991 Nelson hit -- a great song that now rocks a bit heavier :-). The single can be purchased online via the Apple iTunes Music Store or from our myspace page.

2. Our full-length CD comes out this winter, and will include "After The Rain" as a bonus track. The CD is being produced by rock industry legend Ron Nevison (Led Zeppelin, The Who, Heart, Jefferson Starship, John Wetton, Europe, Damn Yankees, and many more). Our sound on the upcoming CD can best be described as... BIG. Melodic, progressive, and epic, too, with multi-part vocal harmonies, layers of guitars and synths, and more.

Our sound is most like Marillion than any other band, but with a touch of Dream Theater's heavy melodic/non-shred side. Porcupine Tree is another influence of ours, but we grew up influenced by Rush and Yes in the late 80s.

Thanks for checking us out! We're hoping to do some big things with the release of the CD in January 2009.
