Phish has announced on their website that they are re-uniting for 3 shows in Hampton Virginia on March 6, 7, and 8 of 2009.  It appears that they may also schedule additional shows for later in 2009.

Phish have that 6-CD live collection called Hampton Comes Alive.  I assume that this is the same venue?

me and some of my friends are going to try to go to the march 7 show. i believe this is the same venue Hamton Comes Alive is from.

Yes, it will be at the Hampton Coliseum (aka the same place as the box set).
 
I just hope that this time us locals get first dibs on tickets. There was a big uproar in this area the last time they came. Hardly anyone from eastern Va. got tickets without going through scalpers and out of towners. It was bullsh*t. Sure, it was great for local retailers and hotels, but local Phish fans were left outside looking in. Between the last Phish gigs here, and ticket brokers of today, it leads me to beleive that when tickets go on sale, they should only be sold at physical outlets for the first 24 hours. That way locals get a shot at tickets, and ticket brokers get held off for a while.
 
Anyhow, I hope everyone has fun, and yes, don't forget your bulletproof tyedie shirts. If the thugs don't get ya', angry local fans will, if the same ticket debacle happens again.
