Following is the list of shows that King's X will be doing in December 2008.  I am hoping to catch them at  the Emerald Theater in Mount Clemens on December 10th.  They are a long time favorite band of mine, but I have never managed to see them before.  Here's hoping that this will be a first time.  The 12/12/08 show they are the opening act for Skid Row (I assume the 80's metal band and not the older band of the same name).

I don't know if there was an official announcement regarding this, but I was on the Tiles MySpace page and it showed that they are playing at The Emerald Theater in Mt. Clemens on December 10th.  I used to be pretty good at math, so I put 2 and 2 together, and I came up with 4 + 3.  As in the 4 members of Tiles opening for the 3 members of King's X.  For my part, I am quite happy with this choice of opening act. OOh.  And if I buy a pair of tickets to see King's X on the 10th, I can see Paul Di'Anno (formerly of Iron Maiden) for free on the 11th, or Seduce on the 13th.

I am really looking forward to it.  I talked a buddy into going with me.  He had never heard King's X, but he liked the samples I sent his way.  It should be a great show.

The concert date has arrived.  I am starting to get pretty psyched up for this one.  I sure with it were on the weekend, rather than a weeknight however.  I'm currently spinning Out of the Silent Planet, and I will see how many of the CDs that I get through prior to the show.

Have fun at the show. Maybe you can post a review. I'm kinda curious about the set list. I wonder how many oldies they will perform.

They've also put out a DVD from a 1990 show.

For all of my European friends, I thought that I would add the European leg of the King's X Tour to this thread, since they were kind enough to send it to me.

World Management is extremely happy to announce that, in addition to a December tour of the USA (see dates below), King's X will be touring Europe for the first time in several years!

Dates begin January 15th, 2009, with support bands announced later this week.

We are also excited to announce, as an added bonus to our British fans,
plans for a DVD shoot in London at The Electric Ballroom.

Be a part of King's X History on this tour and DVD shoot, as we continue to support our new critically acclaimed Album "XV".
Some comments from the band:

~ Happy to be finally coming overseas again...Love Jerry

I thought that this was an interesting picture from the Tiles website.  It is the guys from Tiles posing with Dug and Jerry from King's X.
