I had to go with KA III (actually the whole album is like a single piece), and I could quibble about the absence of Guapo.

I'd also like to big up Duel with the Devil - I'm not much of a neo fan, and the only one of the 'parent' bands I enjoy even slightly is Fish era Marillion, but for some reason I like Transatlantic and I think Duel with the Devil is up there with the best of the golden era prog epics. Similarly IQ's Harvest of Souls, although I have a soft spot for IQ in any case; it's a bit close to Supper's Ready at times, but Harvest of Souls is another solid prog classic of the noughties for me.

On the other hand, Mind Drive - Dead.
'Like so many of you
I've got my doubts about how much to contribute
to the already rich among us...'

I know all of them (although I don't own all of them in my private collection) and I vote the same. IQ, a band that defies the laws of artistic decadence and musical exhaustion, creates a definitive post-70s classic with the epic 'Harvest of Souls'. One ultimate expression of IQ's quintaessence.

     Kind regards.

I mentioned last time I posted that once I heard K.A. my vote for Sleeping in Traffic would probably disappear...I was right, if I could change my vote, K.A. would get it now.  Excellent, excellent piece of music, as I've come to expect from Magma.
