PA's Battle to Stardom B8: Univers Zero v. GG

One of the most haunting and unique bands that were in the original Rock in Opposition against possibly the paradigmatic progressive rock group throughout the 1970s. I sense that there could be a blowout here, but best of luck to both sides!

gentle giant...  heard one album by univers zero.. good stuff..  but much perfer GG.  Espcially the first 4 albums

When I like both bands, I usually go for the underdog. In this case, I think I like GG just a little too much to vote against them.

If you heard just one album, how can you be so sure then? Btw: Which album?

Anyway, its two fantastic bands representing everything I love about the prog I love. I'll admit I went for UZ mainy because they had to few votes. Always dug GG, but grown to love UZ a little extra (revisiting their three first) just the last couple of weeks.

1313 and Acquiring the Taste are my two favorites.

Went with UZ because I really can't choose, and I want this poll to be a bit closer.  I'm confident GG will prevail here.

Universe Zero, cant rely get into GG.

As wonderful as GG are, I have to go with the Belgian chamber avant prog masters this time.

UZ by a mile for me.
GG is good... but UZ is just awesome.

Gentle Giant by MIIIILLLLES

Love both, but went with the underdog.  And unlike Gentle Giant, every Univers Zero album is very good (I thought GG's final three studio albums stunk).
