Has anyone heard of this band? I read that it was an obscure Krautrock band...

Actually they are pretty good. Their first album is very  psych 1970 (and very rare), the second one is on Second Battle records dates from 71. It is the same songs  re-worked and especially the old 8 min track of the first version is majestic in its new form (now 13 min long). But little else really good outside those two tracks. Both albums have almost the same cover picturing their faces on a burning joint  but the difference lies in the fact that a fifth member was present for the second album , so they squeezed in his face on the joint too.

Although not bad, it is also nothing to write home about.

Any decent clinic should have a shot that'll clear it right up.

On allmusic.com, the THIRD album get a very high rating. ( http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&token=ADFEAEE47 F17D348AE7120CE850052C8BA4CE00CDB63F2810A2D4B5CD0FB324780117 CF60DA4D8C8B8B671AB7BAFE02CA45A0A9FCCE457FED662392DFC93& sql=10:st5m963o3ep7) And that's the one I have seen somewhere for €10,- (about $11,- isn't it?)

Should I buy it?

Do not confuse Gommorrha with Gonorhea, James!!!! Never caught that one but apparently you cannot miss it!!    And to think that I had found a previous post of your deep and meaningful!

Joren,

this is the first time I see this album mentioned on the link you gave me! I do not think Asbjornssen in his Cosmic Dreams At Play mention it , but I'll look it up tonight!

I checked in the book, Joren. This record is legit. I saw it on Syn-phonic for $20.00 which will do some 10.00 Euros.

Asbjornssen says good things about it and I can trust his opinion almost with eyes (or ears) closed.

10 Euros should make some $14.00 around these days.

A decent band, who released two albums in the early '70's, i might say they are good, specially the second album Gomorrha - I Turned To See Whose Voice It Was - 1972. Something between Warhorse and Deep Purple. Anyway i saw very late this poll but, never too late.

I remember it, have those two albums. Close to Krautrock, yet some of its lyric and "simple" prog rock straightens off from any dark or deep kraut music. Which brings me to the idea that, when not heavy or psych, their music is rather mellow. The first album is fine, the second actually impresses me more, though it's made of a whole different rock.
