Nice clean English ale, though so lightly-bodies compared to most of the American beers I like.  Almost like a light beer compared to what I've been drinking.  Very easy drinking, mild taste, reasonable carbonation.  Good stuff.

Matt....Founders is becoming my favorite brewery.....I've yet to be disappointed with any of their beers.

Wu, I'm comfortable recommending the Hob.  Nice drinking beer if you want to have a few, not too filling.

Check out the photo below....i just noticed you can see the dude's reflection in the glass

Had a harsh one tonight....Dragon Milk....10%.  It was like a dark beer with a shot of bourbon mixed in.

Hooray for beer!!! Sierra Nevada makes a mean porter, and it gets my vote.

It's a heavy stout fermented in bourbon barrels.
not one of my favorites to drink on a reg basis.
They make one called 1554 that I really like.....

Same here, not my favorite by a long shot.  Would be a good one though if you wanted to get wasted fast.

Also tried the Founders "Red Rye" IPA and that was very good.  Very very up-front hoppiness with a strong floral presence.

Not sure if I've already recommended this one & frankly too lazy to check, but if there are any fans of the UK's St Austell brewery out there, and specifically this one of theirs:

You may be interested to know that it has a big brother:

Proper Job sits happily at 5.5% & is a glorious drink; floral, sharp & bitter but not cloying (fairly rare at this strength & above), but Big Job sits at 7.2% & when served cold does not taste this strong & therefore is one to be treated with respect. That said though, the flavour hits you like a freight train, heavy with hops, top-notes of mango (true) which then mellow to a lovely dry finish.

Absolutely gorgeous.

WOW...a beer poll!

For now Beer to all is drinking a beer. Here I voted for Hoegaarden White Beer, but many of these are unknown for for me. I love another beer producted here in Tuscany it calld "b*****da Rossa" (Red b*****d) double-malt 6,5° / 7° brewed with 20% of chestnuts, a very pleasure for who loves strong amber beer!

Special!!!
