I'm thinking this one will be extremely close. The closest yet. Terrifyingly close. Okay, sarcasm mode off.

Hi Robert.
Well, as this contest reaches it's "pinnacle" (pardon the pun ), I will vote nice and early in the piece.
Much as I like Strange Deja Vu, it cannot compete with Dancing for me. So I'll side with Genesis on this one.
Hope you are well over in lovely sunny warm Florida.

It's not sunny today. How's everything on your side of the globe? Is it snowing yet? I hope you are keeping well and warm. |

Damn, this is a tough one! Why couldn't you have picked a bad DT song, Robert? Well, even though Knight's one of my favorite Genesis songs, I know it's going to crush any song that DT managed to put out in a poll, so I'll go ahead and throw the first vote at "Strange Deja Vu", an absolutely fantastic DT track.

Really love that DT track, but the Genesis track is too much of a classic, and off my favorite album of theirs.

I gave DT a vote because it's being crushed so much and it's a good song on the best prog metal album of all time.

I am keeping warm, but we are having a really cold spell. There was some snow over the weekend but it's gone now thankfully! I'd settle for an Orlando non-sunny day at the moment. Other than that I am fine and am attempting to wade through my numerous new cds, a very enjoyable experience for the most part.
As a matter of interest, how did you vote in this one?

I'm not voting in any of these polls- I don't want to influence the results (not that any of my votes would have helped, since "Song for America," among other songs, lost out). Anyway, if I could, I would go with the majority here. Dream Theater is my least favorite band out of the polls I've been making. I still like the album that song is on, though. |

Sorry, Strange Deja Vu, you are so perfect song, but you cannot beat Dancing... from SEBTP!

What a blood bath. I've seen nothing like this since Savage Syd gave Benny the Bouncer a beatdown.
