I've heard good things about Oceansize, particularly the album "Frames".  After checking out some songs on youtube, I was ready to pick it up.  The only problem is that I can't easily find, at least not here in the U.S.  No stores, Amazon, CD Universe, or mp3 retailers seem to carry it.  I'm usually reluctant to go through independent sellers on Amazon or ebay.

What gives?  Why is it so hard to find?

I wish I knew! I want to punch out all the shopkeeps when I ask them if they have an Oceansize album and they give me the blank stare "is that the band name or the album name?" Then I find Everyone Into Position (great album, btw) for $35 and I'm just thinking, well, maybe it's better that they don't have Frames...

Buy it online is the easiest way to answer your question, or custom order it if you have endless pockets that are screaming to be emptied.

Just how big is that ocean?
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I've had the same problem, EIP was pretty easy to find, but for some reason no stores carry "Frames".
I look at the world and see no understanding...

As an American who listens to a type of music most American record stores do not support, I used Amazon. Also I found out the band is from England, a nice little trick is if Amazon.us(com) is out of the CD, go to Amazon.uk.

Can't fail.

Strangely enough I saw a copy of Frames with the live DVD version in FOPP in Bristol.   Has anyone seen that DVD - is it worth getting?  It's annoying because I already have the CD...
