We're getting down to the wire. This one shouldn't be so one-sided.

Dogs is my favorite song from my favorite PF album. I like DwtMK very much too - which is true for Gabriel-era-Genesis in general, but since in recent months i haven't listened to any Genesis at all, the answer right now is quite easy for me.
Dogs gets my vote

Dancing with the Moonlit Knight doesn't do me much now, of course the intro is excellent, but compared to Dogs, I stay with Floyd.

I'll take the "Moonlit Knight".

Both really excellent, but Hackett's tapping solo tips it to Genesis - just!

Genesis for the big Mick... one of the best songs Genesis did ( finally unleashing the immensely talented Hackett instead of playing 2nd fiddle and letting the worst instrumentalist of the group define the groups sound ) Dogs... one of many greats.. as such.. sort of 'there' for me. Prefer Sheep off of Animals and would have gone with that if that had been an option.

Knight. First Genesis song I fell in love with, and possibly one of of the first classical prog songs I came in contact with. Amazing, enthralling performance from PG, the introduction constantly gives me chills.

Dancing With The Moonlit Knight by any measure. Absolutely amazing work from all five on the instruments, a careful mixture of understated beauty and bursts of confident show. The lyrics are both clever and extremely moving, and Peter Gabriel's vocal is to-die-for.
Dogs, in my opinion, is a good, but not great Floyd song, with a bit more demi-interesting guitar noodling than it needs, and a rather ambling complex/extended metaphor. I like it, but I don't think it matches up to the other two long pieces on the album, or indeed many of the other Floyd long songs.

Moonlit Knight for me, what a beautiful song by Genesis. Dogs is good to but not great.

Two fantastic tracks. I love the opening to Dancing...great vocals and plenty of emotion, but I don't think the song maintains that level of brilliance for it's duration. Dogs is one of my favourites of all time, and that gets the vote.

I like both songs, but I prefer Dancing with the Moonlit Knight just a little bit.

Robert, this is so tough. It's brutal.
I love Dogs and I love DWTMK too, though I prefer other tracks on each album. I'll vote for Dogs as I think I slightly prefer it. Also Dogs is behind in the poll, and needs some TLC.

One of the very rare times I've ever voted against a Genesis offering in a poll. But Dogs is one of the very best PF songs from any of their albums. Moonlit Knight, a terrific number, is only the 3rd best on its album.
