having just dusted off Fantomas' Delirum Cordia and listened to it after a such a long time, i was wondering, how many of you listen to the twenty minuets of record hiss at the end of the LP?

This should be a poll, really.. LOL

I've listened to those twenty minutes once, just for fun, but never since.

This album has the honor of to-date being the only album that has only rated 1 star from me.  What an excruciatingly horrible listening experience that was for me. Dead

i usually only listen to the album when i'm in the mood for mood music, then again, i love RIO/Avant.  but the last twenty minuets are unbearable.  i remember waiting and waiting for something and no, just a 1234 and it's over.  talk about anti-climatic.

Ditto.

I stop it after about 5 mins in to the endless record skipping.

Avant is not generally my cup of tea.  I haven't explored all that much RIO or Avant.  I've heard some good stuff, and I've heard some bad stuff.  To my ears, this was horrible stuff, but my opinion means little here; after all, I like We Can't Dance and Owner of a Lonely Heart and that as about as anti-RIO and anti-Avant as it gets. LOL

A 20 minutes hiss? Harder than the stuff I used to do in my band.
That sounds so paradoxical: usually, doesn't Fantomas make 20 one-minute pieces?

Once, but it seemed just filler material for me. The album is average IMO, interesting idea but difficult to get into I must say. I really like 'suspended animation' and 'amenaza al mundo', but this one is really weird for me...
This is not my beautiful house...

I need to listen to it again, its been a long time since i heard it.But i'd probaly say i would only listen to the end 20 minutes if i felt all "arty" which sometimes i do.
