Great band. There's a young band called SILVERY who are very influenced by Sparks that are worth a listen too.

I can take them in medium-sized doses, and like XTC, when I start listening to them, I listen a lot, then get tired (like after you eat too much candy)!  I have the first 5 albums - my favorite overall is probably the fifth, Indiscreet, though Kimono My House is a close second.  The first two albums haven't really grown on me yet, but I can see there's something cool going on.  I've heard (seen on YouTube) a couple of newer tracks and have been quite impressed.  Next time I'm in Sparks mode I may just grab one or two of their recent albums.
