I'd like to nominate Diagonal for an entry on PA. Have a listen on http://www.myspace.com/diagonalband. This is some of the best prog I've heard in a long time, new or old.

I know they're based in Brighton, UK and are signed to Rise Above, but not much else. Seven-piece lineup... keyboards, theremin, sax etc. They recorded at Toe Rag Studios, which is completely analogue and is even built like 60s studios for the authenticity. They're not just a novelty act, though. Utterly brilliant.

Understandable.

I do like the image I just had of The Symphonic Team sitting around wearing cloaks in a clandestine old room passing round a big red stamp saying REJECTED, muttering "outrageous" and whacking PA Application Forms against a round table.

Good call. I've only heard 1 track of theirs on a compilation but they're a no-brainer.
