As much as i would like to push the envelope of debate and openly rebel, there comes a time when proudly claiming "ditto" is self evident. I also have a soft spot for No Mystery ! almost (by a whisker) as good as the Warrior! Having seen RTF opening for Focus (what a double whammy!) in Montreal was a treat for the ages, a torrid concert where the only negative was Clarke's solo spot (way overblown, almost arrogant) that did not provoke audience hysteria (classy crowd!). Bill Connors is probably the most underated fretman ever!

I bet that concert was awesome! I'm jealous.

I can easily select "Where Have I Known You Before" as my favorite (even over Romantic warrior).  I seen RTF in concert with all three (that's right 3) guitarist.  First time I saw RTF opening for The Electric Light Orchestra in NJ mid 70's with Bill Connors on guitar.  As previously stated very under-rated.  The second time they were the headliner with Bruce Springsteen as the opening act (weird crowd to say the least).  This was right after Connors had left the group.  To replace him they got a very young Earl Klugh and let me tell you he might have stolen the show if he had been with them a little longer.  You could tell he was still feeling his way with some of the songs but the man can play electric.  Makes you wonder about his solid acoustic career.  Finally I've saw the final version of RTF with di Meola before they quit, then the first reunion tour (early 80's) and just recently the latest reunion tour last year.  "Where Have I Known You Before" was di Meola's first with the group and there's a lot of great playing going on.

I chose Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy over Where Have i Known you Before.It's close though.

Oddly enough, never collected much for being a such a big DiMeola fan.  I do have Return to the Seventh Galaxy: The Anthology.

Hymn for me, though the first two are a close second and third.

Hymn of the 7th Galaxy, which is actually my favourite RTF album in any case.
