There are other alternatives.

For example, a lot of my money has been spent on sick and lame horses over the years.

I must admit, though, that if I had known they were lame or sick I probably wouldn't have bet on them in the first place Wink.

Save up until you can afford a genuine (or close enough) Viking noble's helmet (you know, one of these with cool eye protectors), buy the helmet and then send it to me.

Spend it all on alcohol and have a party. Isn't it obvious?

Of course I'd be spending it all on music.  Maybe get a nice dinner out, too.  If it's in the form of paper currency, you could always burn one of the lower value ones for fun. Tongue

When i recycle Bottles&Cans, i usually get loads of coins. But when i've earned another 100kr (about $15), i exchange them for a 100kr bill. Tongue

If you've got a lot of coins, why not build a cathedral out of them?

I'd say keep 50 for a CD buying spree and put the other 200 away for safe keeping. You never know when you'll need some extra cash.

We don't take kindly to your sensible suggestions here. Or maybe that's what we're supposed to do. I dunno. If we are supposed to be sensible, then I'd say invest it in stocks. The sooner the better because the DOW isn't likely to go much under 8000. My suggestion is, if you aren't worried about losing some money, buy the stock DDR. It's cheap and quite risky but it's likely to make you some decent money in at least a few months.

Take the $250 to the bank and have it converted into 25,000 pennies. Then throw the pennies on your front lawn and roll around naked in them proclaiming maniacally, "Bwahaha! I'm rich! all of you thought I wouldn't make it. But who's laughing now? Bwahaha! I could buy and sell you all like cattle!"

I buy way two much beer. Averaging one and a half to two cases a weekend (36-48 beers..), but also on loads of new music, although I've got way too much to listen to currently.
