hope its okay to suggest my own band, but I see its not listed on progarchives. Its symphonic prog I guess, and cds are being sold thru Greg Walker at Syn-phonic, CD Baby, Kinesis, Amazon etc... sound clips of full songs are available at www.myspace.com/cirrusbay and shorter clips at www.cirrusbay.com Also there is a review of it in the latest Progression magazine. We are in the midst of recording our 2nd CD, which is more complex than the first. The first cd is called 'The Slipping Of A Day'. Thanks!!

I'll forward this on to the symphonic team - of course it's OK to promote your own band!

I'm listening now to the track that's on here. It sounds great. Fantastic sound and beautiful melodies. Thanks for that! (I like the (probably unintentional) nod to Hackett "Narnia" on that one guitar picking bit)

Nice to see folks taking an interest in these new bands - many of them are quite good.
Personally I've been obsessing over an oldie the last few weeks though. Just a few selected tracks, but keep playing them over and over. Like this one. Edited by Windhawk - November 15 2009 at 15:05 |
