These bands recorded one album and pfft! Many should have continued , which was the one you would have like to see have a career? My choice is Pentacle

Atlas for me. One of the best things to come out of sweden back in the days, along with the first two kaipa albums.

Weidorje's and Khan's are my favourite of these. Museo Rosenbach is brilliant too and I like Maxophone's muchly. Arachnoid's was my favourite album in symph at one time, but I now find it lacking.
Weidorje quasi-continued with Paga, and Steve Hillage's Fish Rising could be seen partially as the successor to Space Shanties. Not to say that you should have mentioned them, but I had thought that Bubu's Anabelas and possibly Dun's Eros would be on the list (though Eros wasn't released until '81 and Anabelas was late 70's which puts it out of the classic Prog era, I think, but then we have late 70's releases represented). |

Weidorje could have proven to be even better with more albums. My vote goes there.

i actually have my own list here:
Chris Squire
http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=832 Yezda Urfa (kind of, since their 2nd album was released 13 years after the fact, and it contained three tracks from their first album)
http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=355 Museo Rosenbach (same thing as YU, because 2nd album is only b-sides released 20 years later, and 3rd is like 2000 release which sounds nothing like 1st)
