Topic: Top 10 IQ Tracks Posted: March 23 2009 at 05:07 |
With a new album from IQ due out very soon, I thought it was a good time to find out everybody's favourite tracks by the band to date.
Here's mine:-
1. The Seventh House
2. Sacred Sound
3. The Magic Roundabout
4. Leap Of Faith
5. Sleepless Incidental
6. Last Human Gateway
7. State Of Mine
8. Guiding Light
9. Headlong
10. Narrow Margin/It All Stops Here
Any other views?

3. Sacred Sound
4. Guiding Light
5. The Magic Roundabout
6. The Enemy Smacks
7. The Wrong Side of Weird

Thanks!! Your list is really good too. Shame there's not been much interest overall.

I think because this has been done before. I remember posting a list of mine not so very long ago. I can't find it now.
Oh well, a new list then. As I said back then, I'm an old school IQ admirer:
Nostalgia / Falling Apart At The Seems
Common Ground
Headlong
The Magic Roundabout
Outer Limits
The Wake
Widow's Peak
Dans Le Parc Du Chateau Noir
It All Stops Here
The Enemy Smacks

Ok Roj, this one's for you. IQ isn't one of my all time favourites but I'm still getting into them more and more and I think I can come up with ten good ones:
1. Further Away
2. Tunnel Vision
3. Narrow Margin
4. Seventh House
5. Sleepless Incidental
6. Wrong Side of Weird
7. Failsafe
8. Darkest Hour
9. Leap of Faith
10. Falling apart at the Seams
As you can see I'm a nineties IQ-"fan". no.10 I did on purpose to show that there's at least one good song coming from the eighties. But I notice most posters prefer nineties-IQ. Must have been their best era.
