Guitarist Greg Massi (previously of Kayo Dot/maudlin of the Well) recently released his solo record: A Time For Rust. It features a lot of what we all know and love about prog: dense/diverse instrumentation, experimental excursions, mellotron, interesting harmonies, and inventive song structures. His influences for this record include Rush, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Jethro Tull and Genesis.
You can check out his web site, including song samples and a full promo video on his web site, http://www.baliset.net/
You can also read my interview with Greg on ProgArchives, posted here: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=56611
Thanks!
