Sunchild are a Classic Prog band from Ukraine headed by Antony Kalugin they have released two albums, The Invisible Line which was released in March 2009



and The Gnomon which was released March 2008

The music is conceptual with a wide range of styles and instruments creating a melodic progressive sound and would be an ideal addition to Prog Archives.

Sunchild were approved for addition to Crossover at the beginning of the year, but we have fallen behind on actual additions. If you could provide a short biography and photo that would speed up the addition considerably.

Just got the Invisible Line today and it is fantastic and this band should have been added a long time ago.  No disrespect intended as I know people are busy.  I might take a stab at at least a short bio so we can get this going.
Biggles was in rehab last Saturday

Biography:-

Sunchild is the work of the Ukrainian musician Antony Kalugin. Kalugin has developed a name for quality progressive music that crosses over many genres of rock from neo and symphonic to jazz and pop. After successful creating works in the names of Karfagen mainly instrumental music in the vein of bands such as Camel he formed Hoggwash with his UK friend Will Mackie which allowed Kalugin to develop his music into songs, soon lyrics became as important as the music with Hoggwash reliving the golden era of early 70s progressive music. Seeking to bring this into the 21st century and include a wide variety of orchestral instruments to supplement the modern band sounds and pushing him into as many different genres as possible without losing its main melodic structure Kalugin has used Sunchild to create big pieces of music within loose conceptual themes, which all makes compelling listening.
