Most people will probably say Crimson by Edge of Sanity but I really like Nightmares Made Flesh by Bloodbath and The Closing Chronicles by Nightingale. I also like Dan´s work with Pan.Thy.Monium. I can´t  seem to decide. Dan has been part of soooo many great bands and projects through the years so there´s no decision from me just a big praise for the man´s work.

Anything by Nightingale really. I think he has a superb clean voice but I'm not too keen on his growling - or anyone else's for that matter. I have listened to Moontower a few times but the vocals just do me in. He is a great musician and I would appreciate any pointers to bands/albums with his clean vocals please.

Dan is also involved in a band called Unicorn where he only uses his clean voice. I can´t recommend it though. It´s not to my taste.

I recently found some of his rare projects...

Incision "Infest Incest" EP
Incision "Perverted Possession" (demo)
Masticate "Desecration" (demo)
Odyssey EP
Route Nine "The Works" EP
Steel "Heavy Metal Machine"
Subway Mirror "demo"
Subway Morror "Wisepope"
Total Terror (demo)
Total Terror (Unreleased LP)

What I find fascinating is that he really tries everything, some of it works, some of it doesn't, talented guy...

I like Edge of Sanity, his solo cd "Moontower", Nightingale and the Pan.thy.monium stuff .. I lean toward Pan.Thy.Monium...  And I'm probably leaving out something.. heh.

He was also involved in the Maceration project ( their A Serenade of Agony) with members of the Danish thrash metal act Invocator under his Day D pseudonym. I´ve had that album for years.

He also played with Katatonia in the studio in the nineties ( drums as far as I recall).

I´ll definitely check out some of the above of which I had only heard about Route Nine.

Second Sky? Anyone who knows how that project sounds like?
