Okay so first off, I have no clue what subgenre they would fit in. Some of their material sounds like Frank Zappa. Other than that there are some slight jazzy leanings.
Year One formed in 1971 after Fantasy (http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=4315) broke up. It features all the same members of Fantasy except for singer Lydia Janene Miller (aka Jamene Miller). I can't really seem to find a good bio of them, but I definitely think the Cross-Over, Heavy Prog, Eclectic teams might be interested. I'm sorry for not being very specific. P.S. Their first and only album, also called Year One, was originally released in 1971 as a double album clocking in at 64 minutes and some change with 16 tracks. In 1976 the same album was cut down to one record and reissued that way.

I sent them out for eval after being involved in the Fantasy addition actually. Don't remember if they were sent to crossover or eclectic though

They are under evaluation right now (I must say,it's an incredible band) and we are discussing should they be in Eclectic, or should we recommended them to Crossover (if so, I'm quite sure Crossover team will accept them) - either way they'll see the light of the day in PA very soon!
