Badlly translated bio taken from http://www.concerts.fr/Biographie/tapetto-traci and http://allezlesfilles1.free.fr/html/Tapetto-Traci.htm and http://www.atrdr.net/artistes/tapettotraci/artiste.php

Quote Quartet (guitar, bass, drums, sax, songs, samples) is lulled into a mixture of rock'n'roll, crooked jazz, ethnic music, soft and experiments / crazy, Traci Tapetto combines these influences in a spirit of delirious locomotive without brakes . These include Mr Bungle, Jon Spencer, Magma, Zappa, or Danny Elfman as references.

Formed in 2001 under an acoustic configuration (bass, guitars, pots, pans, and chants), Tapetto recorded a first album under the label Relax-Ay-Voo. (Chronic Magic # 58, # 502 Charlie Hebdo, and Eugene Chadbourne on the net). Follows a series of concerts, including opening for Zu, Friesland horse or API UIZ.

Now in its electrical current (due to high gas prices haha) the group is moving (for its second album) towards longer compositions being staged during the concerts. Tapetto Traci tries to reunite his performances in more ingredients according to its desires: dramatisations musicians through characters, video projections, created decorations ... hoping to find a recipe that will delight every palate.

A second self-produced album, Sugar Ogre, will soon be available.

Line-up:
Mederic Grandet - Guitar / Vocals
Sébastien Lavigne - Bass / Vocals
Alexis Toussaint - Drums / Vocals / Keyboard
Charley Rose - Alto Saxophone / Vocals.

Thanks, will be interested to hear what you think, formally or informally.  I don't care much about team evaluation, since I get down to bios too infrequently anyway, but nice to do these threads -- especially as they sometimes get band members to take notice.

Sorry for the neglect Greg - those newborns suck up a lot of your time.  Wink

I'll see if I can listen to it this afternoon.

No worries, and I know what it's like having newborns sucking up your time (my son is two and daughter's five) -- I'm just glad I haven't mammaries, else they would have been sucking up more than my time. ;)
